The medallion is flanked by two dramatic pendants that extend into the ivory field, which is decorated with an all-over vinescroll pattern that includes ornate palmettes and split-leaf motifs. This exceptional carpet is surrounded by multiple sets of finely-detailed guardbands and main borders that are filled with reciprocating palmettes and ornate decorations.
