Later pieces tend to be are dark and purplish. Richer more varied color indicates a relatively early date in the nineteenth century.
Antique Turkish Yuruk rugs are a testament to the rich cultural heritage and exceptional craftsmanship of the nomadic Yuruk tribes in Turkey. These rugs are prized for their unique designs, vibrant colors, and the stories they weave through their intricate patterns. Crafted using traditional methods passed down through generations, each Yuruk rug is a unique work of art, often characterized by geometric motifs, tribal symbols, and a bold, earthy color palette. The deep reds, blues, and greens are derived from natural dyes, ensuring that the rugs not only age gracefully but also retain their vivid hues over time.
