Formal banner scrolls and arching trellises flanked by hares enclose the edges of the spiraling arabesque while retaining a great deal of open space within the center of the field. Ornate architectural borders decorated with ogival arches and three-dimensional cube motifs form an elegant counterchange pattern using a regal combination of cool jewel tones that are perfectly suited to the Art Deco style.
