Vintage Verner Panton Textile, Country Of Origin: Denmark, Circa Date: Mid 20th Century –This square vintage textile by the famous mid-20th century Danish designer, Verner Panton, is reminiscent of a stylized sunshine in the Quadrat (Square) pattern. It is comprised of eight clearly delineated squares sitting within each other, ranging from burnt sienna for the outer edge to sunshine yellow in the center. Shades range from light sienna through oranges to sunflower yellow to make up the squares in between. This piece would make an excellent wall hanging or could be used in a variety of other ways to bring a sense of warmth and coziness to a space. With Panton’s signature 60s vision of the future, this unique textile draws the mind into a meditative space, while engaging a minimalist style sense.
