Beautiful Geometric Vintage Tribal Turkish Kilim 50730 Country of Origin / Rug Type: Turkish Rugs, Circa Date: Mid 20th Century – Like so many other beautiful Turkish flat woven kilims, the lack of pile on this Turkish rug means that it can be used interchangeably on either surface and the appearance will stay the same. This one uses a cascading series of horizontal lines to create powerful movement, and the vibrant colors create a sense of action and urgency throughout the entirety of the vintage rug. Many of the horizontal bars feature diamonds and similar shapes that are designed to create more complex motions between the already cascading forms developed by the kilim rug’s simple and charming arrangement.
