Bold, contrasting colors and rudimentary shapes forgo intricacy in favor of balance and impact. This uniquely modern rug depicts elements of nature in their most basic forms – simplistic and exaggerated, one might describe it as cartoonish were it not for the nod to early twentieth century impressionism. The celestial patterns and landscape forms and the dotted figures are vaguely reminiscent of Aboriginal folk art. This rug is a gorgeous addition to any room or, indeed, art collection.
