Bole brown and raw umber dividing lines traverse the plush ivory background creating a fixed pattern that contrasts the mutable color flecks and jubilant color blocks that float across the field. The plush ivory-colored background features rows of coarsely ribbed pile that create a textural backdrop for the isolated color blocks, volatile checkers and subtle striped details that ramble across the ivory field.
