The white zig-zags that cut into the middle of the frames create transition and contrast between the two halves of beige and dusky brown. At the center of the piece is a background of stony gray, creating an almost ethereal presence that permeates and adds depth and character to the surrounding leaves and shapes. Soft creams, cinnamon browns and ruby reds dance together, adding to the almost mystical charm present throughout this kilim rug.
