First, a series of four complementary borders surrounds the piece. The two outermost borders are shades of red with simple, repeating detail elements. The third border from the outside, meanwhile, is large, and colored a contrasting hue of yellow. This border is decorated with colorful vegetative elements, the red and blue leaves of which stand out beautifully.

A narrower inner border of repeating symbols of red, yellow and blue comes before the field, which is full of surprises and exquisite weaving.
