Beautiful and Decorative Square Size Antique Turkish Oushak Rug, Country Of Origin: Turkey, Circa Date: First Quarter of the 20th Century (around 1920) – With an elegant degree of detail present, this beautiful antique Turkish Oushak rug is designed to stand out in an elegant way. It features angular elements, gracefully drawn in to create lines of motion between the various natural motifs. Though not as flowing as rounded shapes, the sharper lines add a powerful degree of grounding. This complements the earthy tones prevalent throughout the piece. Gorgeous olive tones settle gracefully against warm creams, sage greens, mellow tangerines and vibrant reds. A large primary border defines the antique Turkish rug and draws the viewer’s attention to the center of the antique rug, where the vast majority of the movement and natural arrangement takes place.
