Effectively broken up into a field of soft, pervasive blue that surrounds a central design of combatting lines and colors, this intriguing French Art Deco rug is a quintessentially modern work. A fascinating array of colors, defined by a series of white lines, work to form a field of uneven and jagged shapes in the center of the piece, the energy of which is diffused elegantly into the field by the lines, which boldly overstep their bounds and piece the border.
