Beautiful and Finely Woven Antique Persian Tabriz Oriental Rug by Haji Jalili , Country of Origin / Rug Type: Persian Rugs, Circa Date: 1900 – A delicate floral design graces the body of this antique Persian Haji Jalili rug, rendered in delicate tones of red, green and blue. Dark brown accents curl and swoop like decorations on fine porcelain. A white medallion, decorated with fanciful whorls of feathery forms, centers the antique rug, with a flower as detailed as a mandala as the focal point. Many varying types of flowers cluster within the figure, and flora themed similarly fill red field surrounding the medallion. Matching white corners, set off by a gracefully curved and angled demarcation, add another layer to this lavish affair. A set of finely worked, colorful borders matches the finery displayed within both by color and theme of this beautiful and fine antique Persian Tabriz rug.
