Antique Long and Narrow Size Persian Serab Hallway Runner Tribal Rug, Persia, 1900 — This antique area rug from Persia is over a hundred years ago, this antique rug is every bit as vibrant as one could want. Each color stands out beautifully but works in seamless harmony, and at each bold shape, the eye finds pleasure abound. Resonating rich crimson, luxurious jet and a decedent sapphire that features accents of ivory, the piece is grounded together with a cinnamon brown, with geometric elements that creates a true work to behold. Three border sections are separated by vivid lines, producing an eye-catching effect. Two diagonal striped hems are detailed with free-standing details that flank a thicker frame. This frame holds images of flora layered with hexagons, pulling the eye to the focal area of the rug. In the center of the runner are three large hexagons, accented by bold crossed patterns which welcome the eye along the design.
