The iPhone 4S
Why Apple Will One Day Rule the World
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of days, you are fully aware of Apple’s latest announcement of the introduction of the iPhone 4S. All the rumors and buzz that have circulated the internet have finally been put to rest as Apple plans to unleash the fury of their new phone. With this release coming out roughly in two weeks, the cult-following that Apple has garnered over the years will undoubtedly flock and flood stores full of purchases.
The iPhone 4S is the latest contestant in Apple’s plan to take over the world with its new(er) features. What we are looking at here is not all that different in terms of design. This puppy looks exactly like the current iPhone 4, which I like to refer to as my baby. If I ever parted ways with my iPhone, my life would be a mess where I would be in a serious state of depression eating copious amounts of carbs and living off of sugar highs. Though, with this new device, Apple has unleashed the fury of a faster processor, better camera, Siri-your very own personal assistant, a new operating system-iOS 5, and iCloud, which allows you to sync your electronic devices.
The faster processor that Apple is introducing into their arsenal allows for better download speeds, crisper gaming, less program crashes, and more. The dual core A5 chip makes your phone run like a dream providing speeds that are up to seven times faster than the current iPhone. With this little chip, gone are the days of waiting for Google searches, “Angry Birds” crashing mid-game, and apps taking forever to load.
Also, the iPhone 4S’s new camera is pretty badass if I may say so. Apple is releasing an 8 megapixel camera that allows you to edit images directly on your phone. Want to crop out the creeper in the background or ex-boyfriend? Now, you can do just that with a click, swipe, and tap. Another feature with the iPhone 4S is the ability to record video in 1080p, which only means awesome, crisper, and luminous videos galore that you can also edit directly on your phone before sending them off to your YouTube account.
With the iPhone 4S’s new operating system, iOS 5, you are getting a sneak peek at the revolution Apple is planning across all of its platforms. iOS 5 allows Apple products to be much more user-friendly especially for the man or woman on the go. The new operating system easily shows all of your important events, news, and tasks in a constantly updated single screen. Not to mention my personal favorite feature, the ability to print and watch movies and TV shows directly from your iPhone straight to your home, work, or school printer and your TV set at home via Apple TV. Managing your life will now be so much easier.
iCloud, iCloud, wherefore art thou, iCloud? Let me tell you a little something, something. iCloud is what I have waited years for! With this little added feature, you can now sync all of your apple products to be synonomous with one another. Whether your toting you iPad, iPhone, or MacBook Pro around, iCloud allows you to access information and data from all of your precious gadgets.
Lastly, the iPhone 4S’s greatest revolution, Siri. Siri is the iPhone’s new personal assistant controlled solely by voice commands. Want to send a text by speaking it? Need to find directions? Checking the weather? Need a reminder? Well, Siri can do all that for you just by literally talking to your phone. I, for one, am totally stoked about the iPhone 4S because Apple is really making life so much easier, and THAT is why Apple will one day rule the world. One day soon. Like now. Or now. How about now? Okay, now.
