Impressive Square Size Vintage Art Deco Design Turkish Rug, Country Of Origin: Turkey, Circa Date: Mid 20th Century – This vintage rug, an art deco Turkish rug is a unique combination of the traditional and the contemporary. Featuring a relatively simple color palette, this rug chooses to speak for itself through the vibrant patterns and shapes present within. A single rich shade of red stands as the backdrop to the beautifully woven pattern of white flowers. The rug does not contain any borders or frames, and instead uses the negative space to convey a sense of grounding around and within the series of perennials lining the center of the art deco rug. Each flower is comprised of a central point, from which spread four petals in each of the cardinal directions, the petals’ tips touching each other to create a floral network.
