Beautiful Tribal and Primitive Design Antique Persian Qashqai Oriental Rug, Country of Origin / Rug Type: Antique Persian Rugs, Circa Date: 1900 – A navy, red and white design fills the body of this antique Persian tribal Qashqai rug, accented with touches of yellow that lend a level of warmth to the tribal artwork. The stark white diamond in the center draws the eye, holding a geometric figure with detailed stitching. Surrounding this figure, a vivid red field brims with round, stylized flowers, each picked out with colorful petals in a wide variety of forms. Dark blue corners, linked by chains of colorful triangles along the sides, contain matching decorations in their cool space. Several borders enclose this field, each patterned with angular and colorful chains. A cream-toned band along the outer edge echoes the stark brightness of the central diamond, bringing unity to the antique rug.
