At the top and standing in contrast against the darker background are three beige and white lilies, symmetrically arranged with the two outermost lilies opening their petals away from each other, as if to guard the closed flower between them. Beneath this collection is a lily in bloom, its petals milky white, a coffee brown stem leading the eye down the piece.
