A Beautiful And Finely Woven Antique Persian Bidjar Rug, Persia, Circa 1900 – A sea of crimson shells surround black isles of ashen sand. The blood of ancient civilizations boils from the core of this rug, displayed in a proud wash of deep reds and oranges. The perimeter of the rug is flecked with diagonally upward ferns, parched by the desert sun and panted with pastel colors to contrast the both vibrant and ashen central partition of this ancient Bidjar. The heavy use of vibrant dyes in this rug is a call back to ancient Persian civilization.
