Vines are rendered primarily in golden tones with sparing us of soft red and darker blue for accents. The border is comprised of grand palmettes and cloudbands set against a soft red ground that provides a delicate framing contrast to the field design. The lustrous, velvety pile nicely complements the delicate color effects.
