Colors of these rugs vary from blues, ivory and magenta to a more golden pallet. Kerman was in an area largely undisturbed by wars and, as a result, the craft of weaving flourished. Antique Kerman rugs are distinguished by graceful curved lines and floral motifs. This is a large rug, measuring 12 feet by 16 feet, 4 inches, or 3.66 X 4.58 meters.
