The antique all over rug pattern is mirrored about the long axis, each pair of flowers marching along the body and linked by long, thin stems. A multitude of smaller blossoms seem to flow about the larger ones, grouped by color and style, the pale background filled with black, ivory and red. A steely blue color area rug band encloses the central field, embellished with miniature, scalloped ornaments that alternate light and dark around the antique Indian Agra rug. Before the outermost, dark border, a wide strip of gold and white is touched with accenting black in a repeating design.
