A single, large border defines the antique rug, circling around a broad landscape, with the negative space regularly broken up by tiny twigs, petals and other natural motifs. The colors chosen for this antique tribal Turkish rug are reminiscent of a noonday sun, and the slightest, murkiest differences in hues create a dreamy, almost ethereal quality. At the core of the rug is a large diamond, which houses a smaller diamond within. Around the borders and points of intersection are numerous lacing patterns, which create a unique harmony between the solid pieces, completing the soothing scenery.
