Vintage Moroccan Rug, Woven in: Morocco, Circa: Mid 20th Century – Created in Morocco during the middle part of the 20th century, this vintage Moroccan rug features a vibrant geometric pattern broken into colorful quadrants rendered in pumpkin orange, sapphire blue, celadon and soft neutrals. Kohl black dividing lines break the field into manageable compartments that are decorated with coffered squares, gradient colors and sumptuous roan textures, Tussled pile accents incorporating innumerable jewel tones are juxtaposed against pastel compartments rendered in celadon, maize yellow and pastel persimmon. The layers of plush ribbed pile create exotic textures that are multiplied by the soft fibers and luxurious roan squares. In a classically Moroccan fashion, the elaborate minimalist field featured in this beautiful vintage Moroccan rug, incorporates a tremendous breadth of warm and cool colors.
