Gorgeous Vintage Mid Century Vintage Flat Woven Swedish Kilim Rug, Country of Origin: Sweden, Circa Date: Mid 20th Century – This breathtaking vintage Swedish Kilim rug is sewn in the traditional form of other Swedish pieces, which are defined by the stark presence of colors and forms. This vintage Scandinavian rug showcases frayed edges, which act to create a rugged border, framing the interior of the vintage Swedish Kilim rug and creating clear points of interest that lead the viewer’s eyes towards the rug’s center. A primary beige hue dominates the expansive landscape at the center of the vintage rug, and the large negative space is broken up here and there by the presence of irregular lines of blue and red. Further breaking up the space, though in a subtle way, is a collection of square and rectangle pattern, each a hue lighter than the primary background, enough to softly stand out.
