A deep indigo ground carries everything. Large ivory leaves, serrated along their edges, curve through the field in mirrored pairs, and apricot palmettes with ivory hearts sit where they meet. Red blossoms and small green leaves fill the rest. The wide border reverses it — green ground, ivory vine, red flowers.
Sarouk Farahan weaving is known for this kind of drawing: a formal allover plan worked at a large scale, dense but never crowded, with every element answered on the opposite side of the centre line. The floral vocabulary is formal rather than tribal, and the fineness of the vine work is where the quality shows.
