The design centers around a pair of interlocking circles, each fixed with a solid white, round shape in the middle. Where their circular borders mesh, the figures transmute to a bold brick red that stands out strongly against the pallid tones. Diagonal rays extend outward from this centerpiece, some wavering like a stream-bed, shaded with the palest tan. Semicircles made with jagged lines of tan radiating out to dark red seem to spring out as energetic vibrations. Spills of graduated dots accent the pattern with a perfect asymmetry, complementing the darker bands that grace two distant corners to balance this beautiful Art Deco rug.
