White, yellow and the palest blue give this antique tribal Yuruk rug contrast without detracting from the vibrant, strawberry red that dominates. Three diamonds align down the center of this antique rug, all marked and connected by a line through the long axis. Red and white crosses accent the top diamond, and similar shapes decorate the shape in the middle, as well, which is half blue and half yellow. The last four-sided figure is yellow and white on opposite faces, bearing small embellishments like landmarks over a map. A blue band, like a clinging aura, surrounds the three connected shapes, and a yellow border encloses the central carmine field, standing out against the red background. More crosses and abstract shapes cluster in loose groups, never touching.
