Placing a strong emphasis on cultural folklore and Buddhist symbolism, this magnificent ethnic textile depicts an isolated headpiece filled with complex 12-pointed stars and diminutive small-scale symbols. The popular star figure is revered for its ability to ward off negative spirits. This dramatic star-filled compartment is enclosed by polychromatic stripes that feature secondary flat-weave patterns and symbols.
