Beautiful Vintage Swedish Marianne Richter Rug, Country of Origin: Scandinavia, Circa date: Vintage – Swedish rugs such as this one, have a modern and contemporary feel that brings elegance and charm to a room. Richter and other textile designers created handmade area rugs in Maas-Fjetterstrom’s studio in Bastad, Sweden. Richter also taught at the prestigious Konstfack textile department. Richter ’s Ryas were common interior decor pieces during the pop art movement of the mid 20th century.
