Rich black tones play against deep crimson and elegant azure in a brilliant display of color and contrast. Several rigid borders frame against one another, each leading the eye inward, where the majority of the action takes place. At the center of the beautiful semi antique rug are several floral arrangements, angular in their presentation but still conveying movement and grace. Diagonal lines mix with squares and stems to showcase the artist’s incredible grasp of flow and unity through color.
