Because of the extremely soft and delicate coloration with minimal contrast, much of the design recedes from the viewers notice, providing an impression of simplicity and openness. The border of this highly decorative large size rug continues this approach in a slightly darker palette. The lustrous wool nicely complements the delicate effects of the color in this tribal large size antique Turkish Ghiordes rug.
