Antique Chinese Rug, China, Early 20th Century – Reminiscent of Chinese cloisonne work and millefleur designs used by the Mughals, this rug features serrated, saz-leaf bouquets and a large variety of colorful flowers brought to life with tonal shading and minute details. Woven with intense shades of blue, purple, pink and green, the floral sprays have a wonderful level of contrast from the brightly-colored field.
