Within the borders of this fine antique rug are four triangles, set at each corner of the interior to create a beautiful beige diamond shape at the center. At the very heart of the rug is a beautifully geometric diamond, reminiscent of two pomegranate motifs fused together, their stems pointing up and down in a symmetric arrangement. Floral elements abound, present not only in the borders but also within the shape at the rug’s center.
