The brilliant saffron yellow and bright pink powerfully contrast with muted blues and greens. The exquisite florid scrolls along the border accentuate the bright, radial splashes repeated throughout. In this area rug, the eye is drawn to the reds and pinks in the corners rather than the relatively subdued medallion at the center. Notice how the designs are continued beyond the borders – this unique feature is reminiscent of a summer garden thriving beyond its bed.
