A stunning rug with the autumn colors of burnt orange, gold, and brick red. Two zig-zagged oriental designs reflect each other in the center of the rug. Traditional Persian geometric designs sit between the burnt edges of the massive and overpowering shapes. If you look close enough inside of the design, you will notice an intermingled weave of dark and light golden threads in each zig-zag design. Forest green backgrounds bleed into a gradient of sky blue, sitting beneath a multifarious and symmetrical pattern of floral designs. Arrow shapes inside the zig-zags give motion to the piece, allowing us to visualize the expansion of the golden spaces, and the eventual overtaking of the sea-green guard borders. A true masterpiece, flawless and unchanged by age. A beautiful addition to any room or master collection.
