Antique Indian Rug, Country of Origin: India, Circa Date: Early 20th Century– This room-sized Indian antique rug is perfect for a large space. Its delicate patterns have faded with time and sunlight, but traces of royal blue and deep red remain. The weathered, antique, look gives this rug a very particular soul all its own and has achieved a tawny, almost rose-gold quality after many years. Still, the rug retains some of the gorgeous details of its heyday. The expertly contrasted patterns in the border and the small paisley design in the field are still visible, but the overall effect is rustic and subdued.
