Beautiful and Very Fine Navy Background Vintage Tabriz Persian Rug 51038, Knots Per Square Inch: 500, Country of Origin / Rug Type: Vintage Persian Rug, Circa Date: Late 20th Century – By defining red and blue tones at the borders and heart of the vintage rug respectively, the weaver is able to skillfully present the viewer with an exquisite degree of contrast. Pale wheat and beige tones line the interior of the vintage Persian Tabriz rug’s core and borders, creating weaving motions that provide viewers with plenty of dancing patterns to follow. Two thinner borders act as outlines to the thicker border within, and the interior of the largest border is filled with gorgeously rounded shapes. At the very center of this fine vintage Persian rug is a beautiful mandala, a rich red that stands out against the nightscape of the surrounding backdrop.
