Exemplifying a range of traditional motifs, this elegant Persian rug features prominent geometric patterns set among a lush background of meandering vine scroll arabesques. Floral guard bands and delicate borders feature carefully outlined rosettes, ornate palmettes and secondary floral decorations set over an earth-tone background. The subtly colored borders highlight the chic pairing of camel brown and oxidized cerulean blue that is seen in many classic rugs from Kerman.
