The palmettes all emit short flowering branches, but the overall pattern is linked by a delicate Mina Khani arrangement – very fine tendrils arranged in a diamond configuration in every other horizontal row. The marvelous delicacy of this structure, and of the drawing in general, is nicely complemented by the soft, subtle coloration of golden sand, cocoa, apricots and terracotta.
