Dramatic interwoven calyces and carefully outlined vine scrolls laden with colorful rosettes gracefully meander across the obscure midnight blue field.
Auspicious asterisk-shaped stars, tiny eye symbols and decorative amulets are seamlessly interspersed among the pendulous florets, delicate space fillers and branching vine scrolls that adorn the somber ground. Spectacular flower-and-leaf borders are offset dramatically by the obscure field while continuing the iconography theme. In the decorative borders, reciprocating Herati leaves and colorful palmettes are paired with endless knots and colorful symbols that complement the fiery red outer borders and bright vermilion calyces featured in the regal field.
