Chinese Aubergine Art Deco Rug, Early 20th Century — This Chinese Aubergine rug embodies simple and elegant Art Deco era Asian design. The deep, auburn color brings to life a beauty that never shows off but is always noticed. The traditional appearance of this rug needs very little detail or extra flair due to its simple beauty. However, the rug contains two small breaks from the original auburn. Two yellow and white-striped stitches reside in the upper left-hand corner as well as the lower right-hand corner. These breaks create a movement and rhythm.
