A Magnificent Charcoal Brown Almost Black Antique Caucasian Karabagh Rug, Country of Origin: Caucasus, Circa DAte: 1900 — A longer runner, this beautiful Karabagh rug draws its origins from the Eurasian mountains of Caucasus. European influence is seen in the color palette, while Asian design choices are apparent in the slight floral nature of the piece. A multi-layered, geometric border hugs a rich, deeply colored abstract pattern. Delicate pink hues compliment varying shades of brown as a cherry blossom would a tree. The rug flows from light to dark in an ombre light reminiscent of the sun shining down. The non-respective image allows consistently new interpretations and makes the area rug a conversational starter for any room.
