From deep navy blues to flowing iceberg tones, the colors chosen throughout the piece depict a bright winter scene. The outermost border features exotic lattice patterns which house little blossoms between every line of motion. Within the carpet’s framework are two pristine storks, standing on a snowy mountain path. Both of their heads are turned to the upper left, where they watch the passage of the sun. Around them, one can almost see the soft clouds move as they are carried by a gentle breeze across this antique Chinese carpet.
