Along the central field we see one central row of large scale geometric flowers. This central line is flanked by semi circles of the same large scale patterns, each one lines up in between each one of the central emblems. This creates a magnificent use of negative space and conceptual design that is in line with some of the great works in the modern art movement.
The innermost and outermost guard borders of this spectacular tribal Northwest Persian runner rug, are rendered very similarly, with a clean ivory background color. Against this clean background, we find a magnificently juxtaposed zigzagging long interlocked chain design. This chain design is comprised of a beautiful rust color chain pattern the encircles a light sky blue nucleus and highlighted by rich charcoal outlines.
Sandwiched between these two guard borders is the main wide border. This main border features the same rust color background as the interlocking chain patterns. Against this rust we see a tribal vine scroll design that meanders and encircles the inner perimeter of this beautifully tribal rug.
