This magnificent antique Oriental carpet features a splendid cherry red field flaunts a variety of bold shapes, their straight angles jutting to display blossoms in blue, gold, green and light red. The evenly spaced, symmetrical pattern of this room size rug, with its saturated primary colors, forms a focal point. This effect is heightened by a softer border of muted oranges and blues, wound through with harvest-toned flowers. In the largest band, jagged fronds sway in rough curves about the large, layered blooms, each iteration’s colors shifted around the room size Persian Heriz rug.
