Beautiful Vintage Kaitag Silk Caucasian Coat Textile 49237, Country of Origin: Caucasus, Circa Date: Late 20th Century – This beautiful antique coat garment textile features many of the same elements present throughout other traditional Caucasian rugs and masterpieces. Several contrasting colors are arranged alongside each other to draw the viewer’s attention to the cleverly arranged points of contrast. These sections feature large paisley design forms set within larger housing shapes and outlines, their silhouettes adding further to the contrasting elements by standing against the exterior as well as the interior colors. All of these forms come together to define the outer surface of the coat while enticing the viewer to observe the colorful patterns along the interior as well.
