The primary pattern on the outer vertical portions of the carpet is a simple striping of browns and yellow, while the pattern more toward the center of the piece is more complex. Here, all of the colors that appear throughout the carpet come together, forming a scintillating pattern that is both straightforward and dynamic. The carpet is signed by the designer, Brita Grahn, near the bottom.
