Modern Round Rug Based Off An Antique Tabriz Rug Design, Country of Origin: Pakistan, Circa Date: 21st Century – This opulent Persian style Tabriz design modern rug depicts an exquisite circular arabesque with lavish Shah Abbasi palmettes, curve-linear vine scrolls and superfluous botanical motifs that are rendered in an elegant selection of manila yellow, ivory, earthy walnut brown and crisp cornflower blue. The exquisitely drawn borders feature a magnificent pattern of radiant rosettes and ogival compartments that are set over a warm brown field. Grand border motifs make a formal incursion into the delicate guard bands creating a secondary pattern that highlights the lavish brown background, which is adorned with elegant Tabriz rug style vine scrolls. The lavish composition includes a spectacular variety of exquisitely drawn large- and small-scale motifs that create a tremendously detailed allover pattern in this beautiful round rug.
