Modern, Indian – Modeled after traditional Wagireh rugs, this exquisite Bidjar-style sampler showcases a marvelous array of curvilinear floral motifs rendered in a tasteful selection of neutral hues, soft browns and brick reds, which are paired with cool blues and delicate celadon greens. The partial arabesque features a lush Shah Abbasi palmette with layers of polychromatic petals that are surrounded by sweeping vine scrolls embellished with elegant floral motifs. The fragmented border pattern showcases an exquisite notched rosette adorned with dainty flowers and a central palmette.
