Five tilted diamond shapes, alternating between red and white, align along the central axis of this antique Persian Bakhtiari rug. Simplistic in form, four-petaled blooms in each ornament are embellished with artful details in several hues. Flowering vines edge each quadrilateral, close against the stair-step boundary. This antique tribal rug design is anchored with an intricate throng of red and white lines, which is accented by goldenrod and dusky blue to give the piece added depth.
